Hi!
Today I’d like to share with you my project, which has accompanied me in my development as a programmer for years. Highscore: The Game is a web game that has become for me not only a tool for learning but also a fascinating journey through the world of new technologies and cooperation.
Introduction
The idea for Highscore was born from the need for continuous experimentation and discovering new solutions. Over the years, the game evolved with me, allowing me to test different approaches and technologies. Each subsequent version was an opportunity to learn and share knowledge with others.
Implementations and Technologies
So far I’ve had the opportunity to create several versions of the game, using among others:
- Pure JavaScript with HTML and CSS
- MVVM in JavaScript with HTML and CSS
- Windows Universal App
- Android compilation
- React.js
- Vue.js 2
- Vue.js 3 + TypeScript + Vite
I am constantly looking for new challenges, so I plan further releases of the game in technologies such as:
- Svelte
- Qwik
- Solid
- Elixir
Purpose and Values
Highscore: The Game is to me what the classic “to do list” is to many programmers – a universal project for learning and experimentation.
I believe that even with a small application one can gain valuable experiences, and collaborative work and knowledge exchange are invaluable. Each iteration of the game is an opportunity for development, both mine and for those who decided to get involved.
Thanks
I am extremely grateful to all testers and people supporting the development of the game. Your ideas, constructive criticism, and impressive results during seminar classes were my motivation for further work. I appreciate every tip and commitment – it’s thanks to you that the project took flight.
Reflections
Looking back, I see how much I’ve learned thanks to this project – not only in terms of technology but also cooperation and openness to new ideas. Joint testing, conversations, and sharing experiences made Highscore something more than just a game. It’s a space for development and relationship building.
Conclusion
I cordially invite you to test yourself in the game! Every opinion and result is invaluable to me and helps develop the project further. I hope Highscore brings you as much joy as working on it gave me.
