Highscore: The Game is a project that’s been with me for years. I use it to learn and experiment with different stacks.
The idea came from wanting to keep trying new things. The game evolved: plain JS + HTML/CSS, MVVM, Windows Universal App, Android build, React, Vue 2, Vue 3 + TypeScript + Vite. Planned: Svelte, Qwik, Solid, Elixir.
For me Highscore is what a “to do list” is for many devs – one project to learn from and compare. Even a small app teaches a lot; collaboration and sharing knowledge with each iteration matter to me.
Thanks to the testers and everyone who gave feedback. Your ideas and results in class motivated me to keep going. The project taught me a lot – technically and through collaboration and openness to others’ ideas.
