Play in the City (Gramy w Mieście) is a platform for urban and online games: you solve puzzles, discover places, and learn about the city’s history and culture. Two types: games on the ground (ready-made routes or your own adventures) and online games (puzzles you can solve from anywhere).
Game types
Urban games: ready-made adventures with a set plan, or your own – pick puzzles in the area and your route.
Online games: puzzles to solve from anywhere (e.g. with Google Street View or Wikipedia) and random puzzles for a quick round.
How it works
- Choose a game – urban (you visit places) or online.
- Find the puzzle location – you get an approximate location or hints to look up.
- Solve the puzzle on the spot (e.g. “Which way is Kościuszko facing on Freedom Square in Łódź?”) or online.
- Enter the answer and read about the place.
