In October 2022 I got the news that KanapkaMan was nominated for Mobile Trends Awards in the MOBILE FOODTECH category. For me and the team it was an important confirmation that we were on the right track.
Mobile Trends Awards has been one of the main awards in the mobile industry for years. The jury evaluates execution quality, fit for users, innovation and recognition. Knowing KanapkaMan was among the nominees motivated us to keep going.
The MOBILE FOODTECH category combined what I care about: mobile tech and changing how companies order and receive catering. Over the months working on the app I focused on making the interface intuitive, processes simple and the user experience consistent. Experts noticing that mattered to me.
The nomination was down to the whole team: designers (interface), developers (backend, integrations), testers (reliability). Thanks to them for their commitment.
We didn’t win the main award, but the nomination alone was a success and a sign we were on the right path. Thanks to the Jury, the KanapkaMan team and users for feedback that helps us improve the app.
