Participation in the "I have an idea for a startup" competition

Hi!

I’d like to share with you my adventure with the “I have an idea for a startup” competition, in which I had the honor of participating as part of the Kanapkaman team. This experience not only brought us a distinction but, above all, opened new perspectives for us and allowed us to look at the project’s development from a completely different side.

Mentoring – Key to Development

Right from the first days of the competition, we met regularly with our mentor. His support proved invaluable – thanks to him we could:

  • Deeply analyze our idea
  • Recognize strengths and potential threats
  • Receive inspiration for further action

Mentoring was for me not only a source of knowledge but also inspiration for further action. I appreciate the individual approach and openness to our questions – it was these conversations that allowed us to spread our wings.

Community and Exchange of Experiences

One of the greatest assets of the competition was the opportunity to exchange experiences with:

  • Other teams – getting to know different approaches to solving problems
  • Mentors – specialists from various fields
  • Organizers – with experience in running startups

Every conversation, every meeting brought something new to our project. Collaborative work and knowledge sharing showed me how important cooperation is and how much can be learned by opening up to diverse perspectives.

Competition Final and Reflections

The competition final took place on October 16, 2020. Although we didn’t win first place, the distinction we received was a huge source of pride for me. However, I gained the most value from meeting mentors and other participants – it is these relationships and the tips we gained that will pay off in the future.

Summary and Gratitude

Participating in the “I have an idea for a startup” competition was an extremely valuable experience for me. I highly recommend anyone who wants to develop their projects and gain new skills to not be afraid to reach for such initiatives. I am grateful to everyone who supported us on this path – mentors, organizers, and other teams. I believe that the knowledge and contacts gained will be key in the continued development of Kanapkaman.
